India A Squad for T20 Asia Cup 2024 Announced

Tilak Varma has been named as the captain of India A for the ACC Men's T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2024, with Abhishek Sharma as his deputy. The tournament will be held from October 18 to 27 in Muscat, Oman, featuring eight teams divided into two groups. India A is in Group B alongside Oman, Pakistan A, and UAE, and will commence their campaign against Pakistan A on October 19. The squad includes a mix of emerging talents and experienced players such as Ayush Badoni, Vaibhav Arora, and Rahul Chahar. India aims to improve on their previous performances after finishing as runners-up in the last edition. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals on October 25, with the final scheduled for October 27.
