Experts Discuss Housing Challenges at PEWAN Conference

The 2024 Property and Environment Writers Association of Nigeria (PEWAN) conference in Lagos will focus on addressing the financial and regulatory challenges in achieving the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda on Housing, which aims to tackle a housing deficit estimated at 28 million. Key speakers include Shehu Usman Osidi, Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, and Odunayo Ojo, Managing Director of UPDC, with former NIOB President Kunle Awobodu chairing the event. Scheduled for November 28, 2024, the conference will explore strategies to enhance housing provision and remove barriers to effective production through increased access to low-cost financing.
