Tiana's Bayou Adventure Opens at Disneyland

Tiana's Bayou Adventure officially opened at Disneyland, replacing the controversial Splash Mountain. This new attraction, themed around Disney's 2009 animated film 'The Princess and the Frog,' offers a musical journey through the bayou, featuring Princess Tiana and her friends as they prepare for a Mardi Gras celebration. The ride, which includes a 50-foot drop, emphasizes a lighthearted and family-friendly experience, avoiding any scary elements from its predecessor. Disneyland Resort President Ken Potrock highlighted the transformation into Bayou Country as a dedication to immersive storytelling. The attraction also aligns with Disney's commitment to enhancing representation, following the criticism surrounding Splash Mountain's origins. Guests can experience Tiana's Bayou Adventure through a virtual queue or by purchasing Lightning Lane access.
