Seahawks and Titans Complete Linebacker Swap

The Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks completed a trade involving linebackers Ernest Jones IV and Jerome Baker, with the Seahawks also sending a fourth-round pick to the Titans. This marks the second trade for the Titans on the same day, following their deal to send wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins to the Kansas City Chiefs. Jones, who has shown promise as a run-stopper, moves to Seattle where he is expected to start alongside Tyrel Dodson. Baker, previously with the Miami Dolphins before joining Seattle, will join Tennessee's linebacker squad. Both linebackers are in the final year of their contracts and will become free agents after the season. The Seahawks hope Jones can bolster their defense, which has been struggling, particularly against the run.
