EA Sports Reveals College Football 26 Featuring 300+ Coaches, 2,700 New Plays

EA Sports is set to release College Football 26 on July 10, 2025, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, marking the second installment since the series' revival after an 11-year hiatus. The game will feature over 300 real-world college coaches, including Dan Lanning, Kirby Smart, and James Franklin, each bringing authentic play styles and playbooks, enhancing the strategic coaching experience. Players can engage in multiple modes such as Road to Glory, where they can progress from high school recruit to college legend, and Dynasty mode, which allows managing teams through seasons and rivalries. New additions include more than 2,700 new plays, thousands of real college athletes, and upgraded abilities, as well as the debut of high school football in the Road to Glory mode and the inclusion of new teams like Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens and Missouri State Bears. The game also introduces revamped stadium atmospheres with crowd-based challenges and a new online progression format, alongside the return of College Football Ultimate Team. Early access is available for players who purchase the game bundled with Madden NFL 26, continuing the series' emphasis on authenticity and immersive gameplay.
