Wildfire Near Athens Causes Evacuations and Injuries

A major wildfire near Athens has been contained after devastating over 10,000 hectares and causing significant destruction, including the loss of a Moldovan woman and many injuries. The fire, fueled by strong winds and high temperatures, has led to the evacuation of hospitals and residential areas, with thick smoke affecting air quality across the capital. Hundreds of firefighters, supported by international assistance from countries including France and Turkey, have been battling the blaze since it started on Sunday.
