Duke, Creighton Headline Preseason Basketball Rankings

Duke has been named the favorite to win the ACC men's basketball title in the 2024-25 preseason poll, with North Carolina following closely behind. Duke's Cooper Flagg has been recognized as the Preseason ACC Rookie of the Year, and R.J. Davis from North Carolina earned Preseason ACC Player of the Year honors. In women's basketball, Notre Dame topped the ACC preseason poll, with Virginia and Virginia Tech ranked ninth and twelfth, respectively. Creighton's women's basketball team is ranked 21st in the AP preseason poll, while Nebraska is ranked 23rd. Creighton's men's team is ranked 15th in the preseason AP men's basketball poll, and they are set to face preseason No. 1 Kansas on December 4.
