Arsenal, Bayern Compete for Eberechi Eze Signing
Bayern Munich and Arsenal are both pursuing Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze, with Bayern's interest intensified by Jamal Musiala's injury. Arsenal has reportedly begun serious negotiations for Eze as well as other targets, including Joao Palhinha, Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard, and Viktor Gyokeres. Crystal Palace is considering a cash-plus-player deal involving Arsenal's Leandro Trossard to facilitate Eze's transfer. Palace chairman Steve Parish referenced Michael Olise's recent move to Bayern as part of the club's ongoing player turnover. Both Arsenal and Bayern are seeking to reinforce their squads ahead of the new season. The transfer window is expected to bring significant changes among top European teams.
