Texans Induct Co-Founder Janice McNair into Ring of Honor
Janice McNair, co-founder and senior chair of the Houston Texans and widow of the late owner Bob McNair, will be inducted into the Texans' Ring of Honor during halftime of the November 2 game against the Denver Broncos at NRG Stadium. She becomes the fourth member of the Ring of Honor, joining Bob McNair, Andre Johnson, and J.J. Watt. Janice has been deeply involved with the franchise since its inception in 2002 and, along with her late husband, has contributed more than half a billion dollars to charitable causes, especially focused on education, medical research, and youth development through multiple foundations. Texans Chair and CEO Cal McNair praised her dedication to the team and the city, highlighting her ongoing support and influence. Janice expressed pride and excitement about joining the esteemed group and celebrating with fans. The Texans Foundation alone has raised over $50 million for community programs since its founding alongside the franchise.
