Ukrainian Forces Liberate Bezsalivka, Kill 18 Russian Troops

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have successfully liberated and completely cleared the village of Bezsalivka in the Sumy region near the Russian border from Russian troops, involving units from the 33rd Separate Assault Regiment and the 24th Separate Assault Battalion. During the operation, Ukrainian forces eliminated 18 Russian soldiers, marking a significant setback for the Russian offensive aimed at creating a buffer zone in the border areas. Despite intensified Russian shelling and drone strikes in the Sumy region, including an attack on the Sumy Regional Military Administration building, British intelligence reports indicate no significant Russian advances over the past two weeks. Ukrainian officials and foreign analysts have recognized this as evidence of Ukraine's successful defense and counteroffensive efforts in the region. The liberation of Bezsalivka follows other recent Ukrainian successes, including the clearing of nearby villages such as Kindrativka and Andriivka. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized their ongoing commitment to defeating the enemy and restoring peace to the country.
