Gilbert Arenas, Skip Bayless Launch New NFL Podcast Series

Skip Bayless and former NBA player Gilbert Arenas are teaming up to launch a new digital football debate show called 'The Arena: Gridiron,' produced and owned by Underdog, which also hosts Arenas' basketball program 'Gil's Arena.' The show, debuting soon and airing three times a week, will feature Bayless alongside former NFL players Aqib Talib, Jay Gruden, Gerald McCoy, and Cody Kessler, with Kinsey Wolanski as host. Bayless expressed enthusiasm for returning to the debate arena after leaving Fox Sports last year, despite recent legal controversies including a sexual harassment lawsuit that is reportedly nearing settlement. Arenas, who faces federal charges related to illegal poker games, will appear on the show occasionally. Both personalities have recently been in the news due to their legal issues but are now focusing on providing entertaining football commentary through this new platform. The collaboration aims to build on the success of Arenas' viral digital presence and Bayless' long-standing reputation as a sports commentator.
