Molotov Cocktail Attack Injures Eight in Boulder Anti-Semitic Terror
An anti-Semitic terrorist attack occurred at Boulder's Pearl Street Mall during a peaceful pro-Israel rally organized by Run for Their Lives, when Mohamed Sabry Soliman, an illegal alien from Egypt, used a makeshift flamethrower and Molotov cocktails, shouting anti-Israel slogans and injuring at least eight people, including an elderly Holocaust refugee. The FBI and Colorado Governor Jared Polis have classified the incident as an act of terror and are enhancing security measures around Jewish places of worship, especially as the attack coincided with the Jewish holiday of Shavuot. Jewish leaders and organizations, including the Anti-Defamation League and the Jewish Community Relations Council, condemned the attack, emphasizing that such violence is the result of rising anti-Semitic incitement and propaganda. The local Jewish community expressed feelings of fear, anger, and despair but remain resolute and committed to continuing their activities while increasing security protocols. Authorities and community leaders stress the importance of vigilance and protection amid a climate of growing anti-Semitism and violence targeting Jewish people. Despite the trauma, the Jewish community is determined not to allow terror to define or deter them.
