Over 460 Wildfires Burn Across Canada Forcing Evacuations, States of Emergency

Canada is currently facing an extensive wildfire crisis, with approximately 465 active fires nationwide, primarily concentrated in British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon, and northwestern Ontario. British Columbia is battling more than 70 wildfires, including a major blaze near Lytton that has triggered a state of emergency and evacuations. In Yukon, although evacuation alerts have been lifted near Ethel Lake, the wildfire there remains uncontrolled.
