Nordstrom to Open New Rack Stores in 2025

Nordstrom, Inc. has announced plans to open several new Nordstrom Rack locations, including a store in Nashua, New Hampshire in spring 2025 and another in Lubbock, Texas in fall 2025. The Nashua store will feature 30,000 square feet of retail space in the Royal Ridge Center, offering customers access to discounted brand-name merchandise and convenient online order pickup services. This expansion comes as Nordstrom seeks to grow its off-price division amid struggles with profitability at its luxury stores, with plans to open 20 to 25 Nordstrom Racks annually. The company has opened 23 new Rack locations this year, responding to changing consumer preferences for discount shopping. Additionally, Nordstrom Rack will temporarily close all its stores on Christmas Day for employee holiday celebrations, a practice it has maintained for several years. These openings are part of Nordstrom's strategy to enhance its footprint in key markets while offering significant savings on fashion and home goods.
