Cameron Diaz Announces Return to Acting

Cameron Diaz, known for her roles in iconic films, is set to return to acting with Netflix's 'Back in Action' in January 2025 after a decade-long hiatus. She explained her decision to leave Hollywood in 2014 as a necessary step to reclaim her life and focus on family, stating, "Nobody's opinion, nobody's success...could change my mind about my decision of taking care of myself." Diaz credited her husband, Benji Madden, for supporting her during this time and encouraging her return to acting, particularly when her co-star Jamie Foxx invited her back to the screen. She expressed excitement about working with Foxx again, marking their third collaboration together. In addition to 'Back in Action,' Diaz is also in talks to reprise her role as Princess Fiona in 'Shrek 5,' set for release in 2026.
