Protectt.ai raises Rs 76 crore for global AI security expansion

Protectt.ai, a mobile app cybersecurity firm, has secured Rs 76 crore (approximately $8.7 million) in a Series A funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The funding will be utilized to enhance its AI-driven mobile security platform, accelerate product innovation, and support global expansion into markets such as the US, Middle East, and APAC. Protectt.ai currently protects over 300 million smartphones and processes around 2 billion app sessions monthly, preventing approximately 200 million cyber threats. The company aims to improve its offerings by developing new AI security solutions and addressing the growing demand for advanced cybersecurity in mobile applications. Co-founder Manish Mimani highlighted the urgency for sophisticated security solutions amidst rising mobile cyber threats. The firm has recorded impressive revenue growth and plans to continue expanding its international presence while maintaining India as its innovation hub.
