LeBron James: Injury, Uncertain Future, New Book

LeBron James announced a new children’s book, Happy Spooky Halloween, due July 21, 2026 from HarperKids/HarperCollins and illustrated by Ariel Landy; the Goosebumps‑inspired picture book is available for pre-order and marks his third children's title, following I Promise, We Are Family and I Am More Than. James remains sidelined with sciatica and has not yet played in the 2025–26 season, but he is expected to return in early to mid-November. He will enter a record 23rd NBA season and turn 41 in December.
