Lottery Plans $10M Acquisition to Launch Global Sports Super App in 2025

Lottery.com Inc. is preparing to launch the Sports.com Super App in select global markets by the third quarter of 2025, focusing initially on soccer and motorsport. The app will integrate six core features including live streaming, community chat hubs, stats-based social media, e-commerce, real-money and fantasy sports gaming, and sports news, aiming to create an immersive and comprehensive sports engagement platform. To accelerate development, Lottery.com plans to acquire a 51% controlling stake in Galaxy Racer Holdings Limited's sports and technology assets for $10 million, with a $15 million funding commitment for expansion and an option to acquire full ownership by 2027. The existing GXR app, developed by Galaxy Racer, already has over one million monthly active users, providing a strong foundation for the new Super App. Mark Bircham, Director of Sports.com, described the acquisition and app launch as a strategic move to consolidate fragmented sports experiences and drive aggressive media expansion. The initiative leverages Lottery.com's prior sponsorships and partnerships in soccer and motorsport to redefine how fans engage with their favorite sports.
