Multiple Food Recalls Issued Over Safety Risks
Multiple food recalls have been classified by the U.S. FDA and other agencies due to contamination and labeling errors. King Cheesecake Company recalled six cake products in several southern U.S. states because of possible salmonella contamination, classified as a Class I risk. Louisa Food Products recalled Breaded Jalapeno Mac & Cheese Bites in Delaware and Illinois over potential Listeria contamination, a Class II risk. NuNaturals Inc. recalled mislabeled stevia and monk fruit sweeteners nationwide, and Bunge North America recalled NH European Style Butter Blend after undeclared milk was found, both receiving Class II warnings. Herbalife's Relaxation Tea was recalled in the U.S., Mexico, and Ecuador due to an ingredient mix-up, also with a Class II risk. In the UK, Daylesford Organic's Cacao Double Nut Butter was recalled because of metal ball bearings posing a choking hazard.
