Telangana CM Revanth Reddy reported significant damages, particularly in Khammam district, and highlighted the state's proactive measures to prevent loss of life. Tragically, nine fatalities have been reported in Telangana due to the rain-related incidents. In Andhra Pradesh, unprecedented rainfall has disrupted normal life, leading to the evacuation of 17,000 affected individuals. The Prime Minister commended the state governments for their vigilance in managing the crisis and pledged support for recovery efforts.
