Canada Seeks WWII Veterans for 80th Liberation Commemorations

Veterans Affairs Canada is actively seeking Second World War Veterans, particularly those who served in the Netherlands, to participate in delegations commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands and Victory in Europe (V-E) Day in May 2025. Two delegations will be formed: one for events across Canada and another for commemorations in the Netherlands, providing veterans an opportunity to honor their service and reflect on this significant historical moment.
