Uber Launches New Travel Features for Holidays

Uber is rolling out new features aimed at enhancing customer experience during the busy holiday travel season. Key updates include the UberXXL service, which offers larger vehicles for families with extra luggage at over 60 airports worldwide, as well as the UberX Share program that allows travelers to share rides for reduced fares at select airports. The company has also introduced a home screen widget for iPhone users, enabling ride requests in just two clicks, alongside improvements to its Uber Reserve feature that includes flight capture and tracking for timely airport arrivals. Uber is incentivizing its Uber One members with $20 cash back on their first UberXXL ride during a promotional period. These enhancements come as Uber aims to alleviate the stress of holiday travel amid anticipated heavy airport traffic.
