An upcoming Netflix documentary titled 'Vampires in Gem City' explores the mysterious disappearance of 26-year-old George Phillip Gall in Dayton, Ohio, in 1994. Gall was last seen walking towards the Asylum nightclub, which has been claimed to be a secret meeting place for a large coven of vampires, allegedly the largest outside of New Orleans. In 2008, retired police officer David Williams revealed he had learned from a bartender that Gall was involved in a ritual that led to his beheading, with his body purportedly disposed of in a sewer. Despite extensive investigations, Gall's case remains unsolved, and he was declared dead in 2002. Directed by Joshua Rofé, the documentary has no confirmed release date yet. The chilling narrative raises questions about the intersection of urban legend and real crime in Dayton's gothic scene.
