Bill Murray to Front Six-Part Irish Golf Series

Bill Murray will front Off Course, a six-part series of 30-minute episodes in which he road-trips around the island of Ireland to play some of its most iconic golf courses, joined by long-time golfing companion and author Tom Coyne, celebrity friends and extended family. Co-commissioned by BBC Factual Entertainment, BBC Northern Ireland and Paramount+ and produced by Stellify Media and Skydance Sports, the unscripted series is overseen by showrunners Casey Scharf and Morgan Roberts with Chris Cottam directing and executive producers from Skydance and Stellify attached. The BBC says the show will capture candid moments, wit and stunning scenery across both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, and it will be available on BBC Two, BBC One Northern Ireland and iPlayer. A transmission date has not been announced. Murray, who has Irish ancestry and started out caddying, said the series will be about finding fun, connection and the Irish concept of “craic.”
