Brockton Man Faces Multiple Charges for Threats and Carjacking Attempts in Norwell

Elishah Moore-Evans, a 28-year-old man from Brockton, Massachusetts, faces multiple charges after a series of aggressive incidents involving threats and attempted carjackings at a Norwell car dealership. On January 29, Moore-Evans reportedly became agitated during an Uber ride to McLaren Boston on Pond Street, expressing hostility towards 'Dominicans taking all of the jobs'. Upon arrival, he threatened dealership employees, stating he would return to kill them, and attempted to steal a car by attacking the Uber driver for his keys, unsuccessfully trying to drive away. Police arrived to find Moore-Evans attempting to enter a police cruiser, where he continued to act aggressively, assaulting officers and causing damage to a police cruiser and dealership property. He was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, attempted carjacking, and other related offenses. Both Moore-Evans and two officers were hospitalized following the incident, and he remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
