Girl Scouts Launch 2025 Cookie Season Across States

Girl Scout cookie season is officially underway across various regions in the U.S., with significant pre-orders and events kicking off the sales. In Allentown, Pennsylvania, 7,300 pre-ordered packages were delivered to Dorney Park, while in Bloomington, Illinois, over 800 scouts gathered for a cookie rally that emphasized skill-building beyond sales, including STEM education. El Paso saw a mega cookie drop distributing approximately 197,000 boxes, highlighting the program's focus on entrepreneurship and life skills. Meanwhile, the Raquette Valley Girl Scouts began selling cookies on January 9 following a community service kickoff event, and in Worcester, Massachusetts, 15,620 cases of cookies were distributed, emphasizing the importance of cookie sales for funding troop activities. The cookie season runs from January to mid-March, providing vital resources for Girl Scout councils and various programs for the girls.
