William, Kate Miss Royal Easter Service Again
King Charles III and Queen Camilla led the British royal family at the traditional Easter Sunday service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, joined by several senior royals including Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, and their families. Prince William, Princess Kate, and their three children were notably absent, spending Easter privately at their Norfolk home for the second consecutive year. Last year's absence was attributed to Kate’s cancer treatment, from which she is now in remission. Some palace insiders viewed the Wales family's continued absence as a break from tradition or even a possible snub, though others emphasized their desire for private family time after a challenging year. Other royals missing included Lady Louise Windsor, Zara Tindall’s family, and Peter Phillips with his daughters. King Charles, who is still undergoing cancer treatment, made a public appearance and shared a message of love and resilience.
