Yellowstone Spin-Off Adds Spider-Man Star for 2025 CBS Premiere

The Yellowstone franchise is expanding with a new spin-off titled Y: Marshals, starring Luke Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton. The series will follow Kayce joining an elite unit of U.S. Marshals in Montana, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to combat crime while balancing family and the psychological costs of his work. Logan Marshall-Green, known for roles in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Upgrade, has joined the cast as Pete Calvin, an old military friend of Kayce's who will be part of the marshal team. Y: Marshals marks the first Yellowstone series to debut on CBS instead of the Paramount Network or Paramount+, with an expected mid-2025-26 season premiere and weekly Sunday night episodes. The series is executive produced by Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, with Spencer Hudnut as showrunner and writer of the first episode. There is speculation but no confirmation yet about the return of Kayce's wife Monica and son Tate to the new series.
