NCRC Director Charged With Child Exploitation

James Stewart Carroll, the head of the National Child Research Center (NCRC) in Washington, D.C., has been arrested and charged with attempted coercion and enticement of a minor. The 55-year-old British educator allegedly solicited graphic videos of a nine-year-old boy from an undercover FBI agent posing as the child's father. The investigation began after Discord staff reported Carroll for uploading child sexual abuse material, which prompted an FBI inquiry that traced back to his IP addresses. During communications on the messaging platform, Carroll expressed interest in 'boys only' aged 8 to 12 and discussed graphic abuse, stating chilling preferences regarding the nature of the abuse. Carroll faces a maximum of ten years in prison if convicted, and he has been placed on administrative leave from NCRC, which charges up to $42,000 annually for tuition. The case has left parents and the community shocked and disturbed.
