Pawtucket Reenacts Lexington Alarm March for 250th Anniversary

Rhode Island kicked off a series of celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution with a reenactment of the Lexington Alarm March. This event commemorates the historic call for volunteers in 1775 that preceded the battles of Lexington and Concord. In New York, plans are underway for gala celebrations, including Concord250 and Lex250, each claiming significance in Revolutionary War history. Both towns will host re-enactments and parades on April 19, the anniversary of the war's beginning. The Revolutionary War commemorations are expected to continue for a year and a half, culminating in a nationwide celebration on July 4, 2026. Additionally, The Inn at Hastings Park will host events on April 18 and 19, featuring a themed dinner and brunch to mark this historic occasion.
