Penn State Adds Two Top 2026 Football Recruits
Penn State strengthened its 2026 football recruiting class by landing commitments from two top prospects: offensive tackle Marlen Bright from New Jersey and four-star edge rusher Tyson Harley from Gonzaga High School in Washington, D.C. Bright, standing 6'6" and 270 pounds, is ranked as high as the No. 23 offensive tackle nationally and chose Penn State over Illinois and West Virginia, becoming the fourth offensive tackle in the class. Harley selected Penn State over several Big Ten rivals, adding depth and explosiveness to the defensive line. These new commitments help Penn State rebound after recently losing blue-chip targets to Notre Dame and Michigan. With Bright and Harley, Penn State's 2026 recruiting class now ranks No. 14 nationally. The additions are seen as crucial for building a competitive class following a challenging recruiting period.
