Multiple US Adults With Dementia Reported Missing

Multiple missing persons cases involving elderly individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments have been reported across the United States. Atlanta police are searching for 70-year-old Cathie Gibbs, last seen in Buckhead and possibly driving a gray Honda Civic, while Cleveland authorities seek 80-year-old James White, who left home showing signs of dementia. In Chicago, 71-year-old Jim Brown, diagnosed with dementia, was last seen at the lakefront, and 73-year-old Earl C. Gaskin, who has Alzheimer's, disappeared in the south suburbs. Additional cases include 78-year-old Ronnie Gene Carroll missing from Randolph County, Alexis Lopez missing from his home in Carlisle, and Jeffrey Ratnofsky, who has a cognitive impairment, missing in Rockville, Maryland. Law enforcement agencies are urging the public to provide any information on these individuals' whereabouts. Many are considered endangered due to their medical conditions.
