A significant fire broke out at the town hall of Paris's 12th arrondissement during the night of January 26 to 27, 2025, causing extensive damage to the building's historic bell tower but fortunately resulting in no casualties. The fire, which was reported around 3:20 AM, mobilized over 150 firefighters and took approximately three hours to control.
