North Korea Plans Destruction of Border Roads

Amid escalating tensions, North Korea has begun preparations to blow up roads along the heavily militarized border with South Korea, responding to accusations that South Korea deployed drones over Pyongyang. South Korea's military reported that North Korean soldiers were camouflaging their activities and could carry out the demolitions as early as Monday. The North's claims of drone intrusions stem from South Korea allegedly dropping propaganda leaflets, which has prompted threats of forceful retaliation from North Korea. Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, stated that both South Korea and the U.S. should be held accountable for these perceived provocations.
