Spire Motorsports Adds Key Staff for 2025

Spire Motorsports has announced the hiring of Matt McCall as Director of Vehicle Performance and Dax Gerringer as Technical Director, enhancing their competition department ahead of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. McCall, previously a crew chief for Brad Keselowski at RFK Racing, emphasized the importance of his long-standing relationship with Spire co-owner Jeff Dickerson in making the move. Gerringer brings over 20 years of experience from Stewart-Haas Racing, where he served as lead race engineer. Both appointments are part of Spire's strategy to strengthen its competitive edge as it fields three full-time teams next season, including drivers Justin Haley, Michael McDowell, and Carson Hocevar. Dickerson expressed his excitement for these additions, highlighting their shared vision for race team operations.
