Guenther Steiner Completes $23M Tech3 MotoGP Team Takeover, To Assume CEO Role 2026

Guenther Steiner, former Haas Formula One team principal, is leading a consortium to acquire the Red Bull KTM Tech3 MotoGP team, with the deal valued at around €20 million. Steiner will become CEO in 2026, with business partner Richard Coleman taking over as team principal, while long-time owner Hervé Poncharal will remain through 2025 before transitioning to a consultancy role. The acquisition includes the Moto3 team, and the Tech3 operation will continue under its current agreements with KTM, retaining its French base.
