Michelle Pfeiffer in 'The Madison'

Michelle Pfeiffer will star in and executive produce 'The Madison,' a new spinoff in the 'Yellowstone' universe created by Taylor Sheridan. The series, described as a 'heartfelt study of grief and human connection,' follows a New York City family who relocates to the Madison River valley of central Montana. This marks the first 'Yellowstone' spinoff set in the present day and comes after the flagship series, starring Kevin Costner, ends with the second half of its fifth season in November 2024. Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global co-CEO, praised Pfeiffer's talent and suitability for the role. Other rumored cast members include Patrick J. Adams and Kurt Russell. Filming is set to begin in late August, with a premiere expected in 2025.
