Oakland Man Arrested In Mexico For 2024 Livermore Double Homicide

Yonston Vazquez, 31, of Oakland was arrested in Mexico and extradited to the United States in connection with the April 27, 2024, double homicide at a La Quinta Inn in Livermore. Vazquez is accused of fatally shooting his wife, 26-year-old Lizabeth Murillo Rodriguez, and 21-year-old Christopher Brian Vera, who were found dead in a hotel room.
