During a Mashable podcast, he expressed immense gratitude to actor Salman Khan, who provided unwavering support by staying on the phone with Remo's wife, Lizelle, throughout his surgery and recovery. Remo described the moment he felt unwell at the gym and how his fitness allowed him to reach the hospital on foot, despite the severity of his condition. He recounted that while his wife was distraught, he found it hard to believe he had a heart attack, joking about how a fitness enthusiast like himself could face such a crisis. The doctors informed him that his fitness was crucial for his survival, as it enabled him to seek help in time. Looking ahead, Remo is set to direct a new film titled 'Be Happy', featuring Abhishek Bachchan.
