Five Shot, Including Child, in Jackson

A tragic mass shooting in Jackson, Tennessee, on Tuesday resulted in the death of a 2-year-old child among five individuals shot inside an SUV. Police responded to a shots fired call around 4 p.m. and found four adults and the child suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. All victims were transported to a nearby hospital, with some requiring airlift to a Memphis facility. Investigators identified a white 4-door sedan as the suspect's vehicle using surveillance footage, and an adult person of interest is currently in custody. The Jackson Police Department is continuing their investigation and encourages anyone with information to come forward.
