The chargesheet names 11 individuals as accused, including the main organizer Dev Prakash Madhukar, but notably excludes Surajpal from any accusations despite his central role in the event. The gathering attracted over 250,000 attendees, significantly surpassing the 80,000 permitted, leading to allegations of mismanagement against the event's organizers. A judicial inquiry is ongoing, and the court is set to review the chargesheet on October 4. Defense lawyer AP Singh indicated that there is no current case against Surajpal, while some claims suggest the chaos was exacerbated by unidentified individuals allegedly spraying a poisonous substance. The Uttar Pradesh government has taken action by suspending six officials for their failure to adequately manage the event.
