Bengaluru Police have filed a 3,991-page chargesheet against Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, his associate Pavithra Gowda, and 15 others in the murder case of Renukaswamy. The comprehensive chargesheet includes forensic reports, DNA evidence, CCTV footage, call records, and eyewitness accounts. Renukaswamy was allegedly kidnapped, tortured, and murdered by the accused, reportedly in response to obscene messages sent to Gowda. The chargesheet details brutal torture methods used, including electric shocks and physical assault, with material evidence like DNA on the accused's clothing and photographs of the crime scene strongly implicating the accused. The chargesheet was submitted to the 24th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court, with the police confident of a watertight case.
