Kenya Power Announces Planned Outages for Maintenance

Kenya Power has announced a series of planned power interruptions across multiple counties due to essential maintenance work. On September 2, 2024, Nairobi, Kisumu, and Homa Bay counties will experience outages affecting areas such as Lower Kabete Road, Westlands, and Kibos Market, with timings varying from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Additionally, on September 4, 2024, six counties, including Nairobi, Kisumu, Kakamega, Homa Bay, Nyamira, and Embu, will face interruptions for maintenance, impacting numerous neighborhoods throughout the day. The company has apologized for the inconveniences and emphasized the importance of the maintenance work. Residents are advised to prepare for the interruptions that may disrupt their daily activities. Kenya Power aims to ensure reliable service through these necessary outages.
