Floyd Myers, Former Fresh Prince Actor, Dies at 42

Floyd Roger Myers Jr., known for portraying a young Will Smith on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and a young Marlon Jackson in The Jacksons: An American Dream, died at 42 after suffering a heart attack at his Maryland home. His mother, Renee Trice, said Myers had endured three heart attacks over the past three years and that she spoke with him the night before his death. He leaves four children, and family members have launched a GoFundMe to help with funeral costs. The Fellowship Men's Group, which he co-founded to support men's mental and emotional health, posted condolences and vowed to continue its mission. Myers's last credited screen appearance was a 2000 episode of Young Americans, and colleagues, fans and media expressed shock and sympathy online.
