Virginia Tech Players Earn AP All-American Honors

Junior Bergen and Brandon Casey from Montana have earned spots on the Associated Press FCS All-American team, with Bergen recognized as an Honorable Mention all-purpose player and Casey as an Honorable Mention offensive lineman. Bergen's career highlights include tying for the most punt return touchdowns in NCAA FCS history and holding the school record for average yards per punt return. Meanwhile, Virginia Tech's Antwan Powell-Ryland and Aeneas Peebles were named to the AP All-American third team, marking the first time since 2017 that Hokies players received such honors.
