Rodrigo Valdovinos-Hernandez sentenced for illegal reentry, prior deportations

In Las Vegas, Rodrigo Valdovinos-Hernandez, a Mexican national previously deported twice, was sentenced to time served after being found living illegally in the U.S. again, with prior convictions for attempted burglary and possession of a stolen vehicle (KOLO, FOX5). In a separate case, Steven Neal, a four-time convicted felon, is accused of killing Jesus Villa in Las Vegas and fleeing to Colorado. Neal faces homicide charges after police identified him as the shooter using surveillance footage and witness reports (KLAS). Additionally, Wyatt Peterson was sentenced to 26 years in prison for armed robberies of two jewelry stores in Las Vegas and assaulting a detention officer. Peterson used a firearm during the robberies, stealing over $60,000 in jewelry and has prior convictions including identity theft and possession of a controlled substance (Review Journal, Audacy).
