Phu Quoc to Welcome Luxury Resort Brands

Phuket is experiencing a significant transformation into a luxury living destination, with the property market expected to reach $4.1 billion by 2025, driven by high-net-worth individuals from emerging markets. The Gardens of Eden project has notably attracted Russian and Singaporean investors, underlining Phuket's appeal for second homes. Meanwhile, Phu Quoc Island has been crowned the world's second most beautiful destination, generating $831 million in tourism revenue in 2024, with a notable increase in international visitors. The island is also expanding its luxury offerings with the introduction of several renowned brands, including the first all-inclusive luxury resort in Southeast Asia, Rixos Phu Quoc, slated to launch soon. Additionally, the Sun Group is investing $512 million in the Aspira Tower project, expected to become an iconic structure similar to Dubai's Burj Al Arab. These developments highlight the growing status of both Phuket and Phu Quoc as premier luxury travel and living destinations in Southeast Asia.
