Billionaire restaurateur Richard Caring is nearing a deal to sell his majority stake in The Ivy Collection, with the transaction valued at approximately £1 billion. The buyer is reported to be Si Advisers, a lesser-known London-based investment firm, and the deal could be finalized within weeks. Other shareholders, including a Qatari fund, are also expected to offload their stakes. Under Caring's leadership, The Ivy Collection has grown significantly, generating a turnover of nearly £303 million and an EBITDA of £54.8 million. This sale will not affect Caring's ownership of his other renowned establishments such as Scott's and Sexy Fish. The deal represents a culmination of an auction process that Caring initiated late last year, indicating the strong market interest in high-end dining brands.
