Subaru Unveils 2026 Uncharted Electric SUV

Subaru has unveiled the 2026 Uncharted, a compact electric SUV developed with Toyota and based on the e-TNGA platform shared with the Toyota C-HR. The Uncharted will be Subaru’s first front-wheel-drive model in decades, with a limited-production Premium FWD trim offering 221 horsepower and over 300 miles of range, and Sport and GT dual-motor AWD trims delivering 338 horsepower, sub-5-second 0-60 mph times, and up to 290 miles of range. All models use a 74.7 kWh battery and support 150 kW DC fast charging via a standard NACS port. The interior features a 14-inch infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and multiple charging ports. Subaru has enhanced off-pavement capability with X-Mode AWD and increased ground clearance; the Uncharted is smaller than the Solterra but offers more cargo space. Nationwide U.S. sales begin in early 2026, with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
