Apple TV+ Renews Bad Monkey for Season 2

Apple TV+ has officially renewed its comedy series 'Bad Monkey' for a second season, following the success of its first season which aired from August to October 2024. The show, starring Vince Vaughn as Andrew Yancy, a disgraced Miami cop turned health inspector, has been praised for its humor and Vaughn's performance. Interestingly, Season 2 will not be based on the sequel novel 'Razor Girl' by Carl Hiaasen, suggesting a shift in direction as the series aims for original content inspired by Hiaasen's work. Showrunner Bill Lawrence expressed his excitement about continuing to tell Yancy's story, emphasizing the collaboration with a talented cast and crew. The production will move from Florida to Los Angeles, although additional shoots in Florida are still planned.
